Database description

The GLASSFILE database covers worldwide literature related to the scientific, technological and historical aspects of glass and allied fields. The documents are abstracted and indexed according to a bilingual (French – English) thesaurus developed by the IPGA. Most of the references dated between 1970-1985 are in French, with abstracts provided since 1975. Since 1985, all references include English translated titles and most of the abstract are in English.
